Shift: 10 HR Days 40 HRS Guaranteed
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general ultrasound procedures including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts imaging.
- Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
- Review and evaluate images for diagnostic quality before submitting to radiologists.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate results.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Certification: ARDMS or equivalent required (OB/GYN, Abdomen, Vascular preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in general ultrasound preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
