Travel Polysom Sleep Tech – Sleep Study
You will be working as a Travel Polysom Sleep Tech in a Sleep Study unit. This position requires a minimum of 2 to 3 successful travel assignments and a strong background in managing pulmonary patients and various sleep disorders.
Job Overview
- Shift: Nights, 3×12 (three 12-hour shifts per week)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
About the Unit
- 4 beds in the unit
- Nurse-to-patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 depending on patient’s needs
- Common diagnoses include pulmonary patients, OSA, CSA, OHS, COPD, and cardiology
- Respiratory equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV
- No charge nurse or house supervisor assignments
- No nurse aides on this unit
- No floating requirements
- No call or standby requirement
- Dress code is navy blue
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 to 3 successful travel assignments with no canceled contracts on either party
- 3 years’ experience as a CPSGT or RPSGT
- Evaluation scores of 3.5 to 4.0
- Required certifications: RPSGT and either RRT-SDS or CRT-SDS
- Experience with NATUS and scoring
- Familiarity with NATUS sleep works and MPR home units
