Healthcare Job Opportunity
You will be working as an EP Tech in the Electrophysiology Lab. You will be responsible for performing catheterization and peripheral procedures, managing an average of 4-5 cases per day. This role involves working 4 ten-hour days with call shifts, including weekends.
Job Overview
- Shift: 4 ten-hour days, 10-11 call shifts per month including weekends
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Years of Experience: 1 Year
About the Unit
- EP Lab with 7 holding room suites and 2 cath labs
- Common cases include cardiac adults (peripheral, cardiac cath, PCI, devices)
- Charge nurse manages flow of the day, assignments, and may perform cases if needed
- Team structure includes a 3-man team (2 RN and 1 tech)
- Orientation includes 2 shifts with a preceptor and a “buddy call” for Cath Lab
- Scrubs are provided; RN’s wear navy blue and Rad Techs wear burgundy
Requirements
- ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), Certified Radiologic Technologist – ARRT (R) Verification
- At least 1 year of experience in Electrophysiology or related fields
- Experience with IABP and IVUS is required
