Shannon Johnson

Shannon Johnson has been on assignment at Riverside University Health System for an extended period of time and was recently recognized by the facility for rising above expectations in her care for patients.  Her supervisor said, “Shannon is a star nurse, she is what a nurse truly is: kind and caring but professional at the same time.”

Shannon has been in the healthcare field for over 18 years and had spent most of her career in long-term facilities.  When the COVID pandemic arrived, the majority of healthcare systems experienced an unbearable strain, especially in properly staffing facilities to meet the enormous and acute patient demands.  When the nation rang the bell, Shannon answered the call.

Shannon was introduced to B2B Staffing Services and was found her first assignment.  She enjoyed the opportunity to try different disciplines and facilities. “Working with Yvette and B2B Staffing allowed me to try different hospitals and settings.  I learned a lot.”

Shannon has since completed two additional assignments.  Shannon’s recruiter Yvette Dakos has come to rely on her refering to her work ethic by saying “Shannon is a great, hardworking clinician that puts in all her efforts and time. She’s greatly appreciated!”

A lifelong resident of Southern California, she was raised in a healthcare family where her mother was a registered nurse at Martin Luther King Hospital.  She continues to build on her education and complete additional certifications and is a proud mother of four children and seven grandchildren.
